וָאָשִׂ֨ם שָׁ֤ם מָקוֹם֙ לָֽאָר֔וֹן אֲשֶׁר־שָׁ֖ם בְּרִ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר כָּרַת֙ עִם־אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ בְּהוֹצִיא֥וֹ אֹתָ֖ם מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ (ס)
Und dort habe ich einen Platz für die Lade gesetzt, in dem der Bund des HERRN ist, den er mit unseren Vätern geschlossen hat, als er sie aus dem Land Ägypten herausgebracht hat.'

3. We take out two [Torah] scrolls and read the same sections that were read the previous day. The haftarah is from Kings, "They gathered" [Kings I 8:2] until "when I took them out of Egypt" [Kings I 8:21].
